- Instructions for single unit

1 Positon the planter firmly on the ground.

4 Before watering, plant up as shown.

Be sure that the plant roots go well into the interior of the planter, with the planting cup acting as a support and for water catchment.

2 Secure the top of the planter with the fixing provided

If you are securing to a balcony railing, use the cable tie provided.

5 After planting, water well, both at the top and on the sides.

If neccessary, add a little more compost at the top of the planter to accomodate for consolidation after watering.

We recommend the application of liquid plant food every 10 days.

As a variation, plant fruit or vegatbles in the top section, ie, strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. (use about every 3rd planting cup) and plant flowers in the base.

Enjoy!

3 Fill the planter with compost.

Tips:

When planting bedding plants, use all the available pockets for a massive display of blooms. Remember to keep dead heading.

When planting fruits and vegatbles, such as strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, etc, give the plants more space and use about one in three of the planting pockets

Add a few slug pellets to the lower planting cups to keep unwelcome visitors away!
